Johnson Leads UFC 227 Salaries

Even though Demetrious Johnson’s historic title defense streak has ended, Mighty Mouse led the way in salary on Saturday night.

Johnson would take in a guaranteed $380,000 for his split decision loss to Henry Cejudo, who would make $100,000 and earn the UFC flyweight title.

TJ Dillashaw would retain his UFC bantamweight title by dropping Cody Garbrandt in a first round stoppage. Dillashaw would not only keep his title, but earn $350,000 in victory, while Garbrandt would make $200,000 in defeat.

Cub Swanson would make the fifth highest salary would make $90,000 in his first round submission loss to Renato Moicano, who made $52,000 (26K to show, $26K to win), with Swanson losing out on $40,000 extra in a winner’s bonus.
