Jon Jones Confirms Negotiations For UFC White House Return
Jon Jones (28-1, 1 NC) has confirmed that he is officially in talks to fight at the UFC White House on June 14.
Jones had initially walked away from the sport in June 2025 after a title bout with Tom Aspinall failed to materialize. However, the allure of competing on the South Lawn for the U.S. 250th anniversary has brought him back into the fold. White had famously stated he “couldn’t risk” putting Jones on such a card due to his history of last-minute cancellations, saying the odds are a ‘billion to one.’ Jones also recently admitted to battling severe arthritis that qualifies him for a hip replacement, but he has doubled down on his claim that he may return.Â
“I’m in negotiations with the UFC about this White House thing as well. Very, very proud American and I cannot wait to represent one more time. So, we’ll see what happens,” Jones said
