Jon Jones Leaks His UFC Return Date

Jon Jones leaked the date for his UFC return, saying it is on November 9 at Madison Square Garden.

Jones has not fought since beating Ciryl Gane last year at UFC 285 to win the vacant UFC Heavyweight Title. He stopped Gane via a first-round submission. His title defense suffered a blow as he withdrew from his UFC 295 fight with Stipe Miocic. He suffered a pectoral muscle injury in sparring, which required surgery. However, Bones is back in training, as he recently revealed he had a date for his return.

Jones has now announced a November return, with Miocic the likely opponent.

Jones took down that post, which is most likely because the UFC has not formally announced it. However, he did post a further message, hinting that he will fight in November. Jones also highlighted Tom Aspinall’s fight with Curtis Blaydes at UFC 304 on July 27. Blaydes beat Aspinall in their first fight after the Brit suffered a knee injury in the first round. The winner will likely get a title shot against Jones.
