This past weekend at Noche UFC, heavyweight champion Jon Jones got the opportunity to meet 205-pound titleholder Alex Pereira, and the interaction seemed to be very pleasant in nature.
UFC 306, aka Noche UFC, went down on Saturday night inside Sphere in Las Vegas. The main event in which Merab Dvalishvili captured the bantamweight belt with a win over Sean O’Malley was not rated highly by many on the entertainment scale, but the production quality of the event itself was very impressive, and man stars were out to take part.
Two of those stars were Jones and Pereira, and the pair had a quick friendly conversation, and even posed for some photos.

Following the meet, Jon Jones touched on Pereira in an interview, and the former light heavyweight king had nothing but nice things to say about the division’s current champion.
“[Alex] Pereira was amazing.” Jon Jones stated in the interview when asked about his interaction with the champion at Noche UFC. “He was so humble and just big and strong. He’s just an awesome guy, awesome champion.”
