Jon Jones Returns To Training

UFC Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones is back in training following his injury.

Bones withdrew from his UFC 295 title defense against Stipe Miocic in November last year after injuring his pectoral muscle. Bones won the belt after submitting Ciryl Gane at UFC 285 last year, winning the vacant title left by Francis Ngannou. Jones had surgery on that injury, followed by additional surgery on his elbow. Dana White dismissed stripping Jones after Tom Aspinall wanted to fight Miocic for the title, with the winner facing Bones. His return is now a step closer. The following image shows Jones in the gym with his stablemates.

Since his time out of the Octagon, Jones has struggled with controversy. A female employee from Drug Free Sport accused Jones of ‘threatening’ to kill her. The employee accompanied a colleague to test the fighter at his home. There are suggestions Jones was intoxicated. Jones later released security footage showing him walking them to their car without trouble. Jones also dismissed reports he was arrested. If Jones can keep his focus, fans should see him back soon.
