Jon Jones Unsure If He Will Retire After His Next Fight

Jon Jones is still considering whether to retire following his next fight.

Jones is expected to defend his UFC Heavyweight Title against Stipe Miocic. Their UFC 295 clash was called off after Jones withdrew with a pectoral muscle injury. Tom Aspinall wanted Jones stripped, which Dana White refused. Aspinall would then knockout Sergei Pavlovich for the interim belt as he defended it against Curtis Blaydes at UFC 304.

Should Aspinall win, he will call for that fight. There is also a chance Alex Pereria moves up to heavyweight to fight Jones. The UFC Light Heavyweight Champion stopped Jiri Prochazka at UFC 303. Aspinall and Pereira offer Jones two big fights, although Bones favours a Pereira fight.

“Tom only matters in the U.K., newsflash. Pereira is one of the most polarizing figures this sport has seen. Tom’s a contender who won a belt against another contender. We had to save Madison Square Garden’s main event. I’m thinking dollar signs, legacy, big picture here. Not what U.K. fans are dying to see. Literally just went through this with the French fans,” Jones said

However, Jones has yet to make his decision over his future.
