Jones Claims “In My Heart” He’s Still Champ
While Jon Jones awaits his fate from USADA, and recently was fined, and had his license revoked by the California State Athletic Commission, he still feels like a champion.
On Wednesday, Jones took time from blasting Chuck Liddell, to thank a fan for a complement, and also take a shot at the light heavyweight division.
Thanks brother, yeah I know I don’t need to hold that belt to be the champion. Sure the whole top five knows that too https://t.co/6UfzdcX0Nr

Jones also replied with this now deleted tweet (captured by MMAJunkie)
Jones sought redemption last year when he defeated Daniel Cormier at UFC 214, but would have his moment and title taken from him after testing positive for Turinabol in an in-competition drug test.
In response to the test failure, Jones was handed a $205,000 fine and as mentioned above, had his license revoked.
Jones awaits arbitration with USADA, which may lead to a four-year suspension for his second test failure.
