Jones Still Wants Lesnar Fight After UFC 232

Even with Alexander Gustafsson on the horizon, Jon Jones is looking forward to a potential fight against Brock Lesnar.

Following his UFC 214 win over Daniel Cormier, a path to facing Lesnar seemed to open up for Jones, but after failing a USADA drug test, Jones’ career was in jeopardy.

Now, Jones returns after his shortened suspension to face Gustafsson on December 29th for the UFC light heavyweight title and still has Lesnar on his mind.

“Yeah I would like to fight Brock Lesnar still,” Jones told reporters at a press conference last week. “Absolutely. Brock Lesnar is one of the most entertaining guys. People want to see him in the UFC against entertaining guys. Yeah, I’m definitely looking forward to the opportunity to still compete against Brock Lesnar.”

“I try not to make any fight the biggest fight of my career,” Jones said. “My fight is the fight to be the best ever. That comes with every fight.”
