Jorge Linares On Devin Haney: ‘I Think He Will Run All Night’

Jorge Linares thinks Devin Haney will try to get on his bicycle during their lightweight title fight.

Linares will challenge Haney for the WBC Lightweight Championship this Saturday night, May 29. The title fight will headline a card airing LIVE on DAZN. It’ll be Haney’s third title defense.

Linares knows what it’s like to hold world titles. He once had the WBC, WBA, and The Ring Championships. Many believe this could be the 35-year-old’s last chance at another world title.

Linares spoke on his upcoming title fight against Haney. He made it clear that he believes “The Dream” will simply look to run away from the action (h/t Bad Left Hook).

“A fight with me is a different level. I can show so many styles, I’m naturally fast and strong, I don’t have a lot of KOs, but he knows I can punch. I think he will run all night, but I will be waiting for him, I will follow him.

“If he wants to fight inside, I am ready for him. He’s going to have big problems on Saturday night, he knows I can do everything, and he knows I have the timing to put him down.”
