Jorge Masvidal Eyes Comeback Fight Against Two Rivals

Jorge Masvidal tasted his first ever KO finish against Current Champion Kamaru Usman.  After, he missed his title chance he wants to fight with a top-ranked opponent to get his chance at his title again.
Colby Covington (16-2-0) is one of the options for the “BMF” belt owner. There is lots of hype behind this fight. Once they were friends and now they are the worst enemies and they might continue to be rivals in the future.

Both of them got finished by the current champion and both of them want to get their chance once again to win the UFC gold. Now that Legendary Nick Diaz( 26-9-0 ) is back, everyone wants to fight against him.

Masvidal (35-15-0) has won his “BMF” belt against Nick’s little Brother Nate Diaz (20-13-0).  So there is high probability that Nick might want revenge for his little brother and Gamebrad might defend his “BMF” title for the first time.

“Spoke to Jorge Masvidal’s manager, Abraham Kawa, about what’s next for Masvidal. He said Masvidal is targeting a return in October/November against either Nick Diaz or Colby Covington.”

Masvidal has suffered losses in his last two fights, both of them were for the title, against the same opponent. For the first time, he took a short-notice fight against “The Nigerian Nightmare” and saved the show when Gilbert Burnes was out because of Covid-19.

But, there is no excuse for the second loss because he had a full preparation camp but the current champ KO him out cold. Nevertheless, 2019 was a great year for “Street Jesus”. He had 3 finishes in a row, and he KO very well-known fighters, including Darren Till, Ben Askren, and Nate Diaz.

We can say that he finished Ben Askren’s undefeated record and his career as well Masvidal is a Celebrity Star for the UFC, and fans all over the world love watching him fight. He is a “must watch” fighter and UFC is selling lots of PPV on Masvidals Cards, regardless of his opponent.

Which fight makes more sense, a Bad Blood fight against Colby Covington or a first-ever title defense against another brother of Diaz’s army?
