Jorge Masvidal Thanks Dana White In His Own Way
Jorge Masvidal had just the perfect response to UFC president Dana White when the latter praised the welterweight star for selling a high number of pay-per-view fights.
While thanking his “employer,” Masvidal was pleased to see White realizing what he brings to the table, but maybe thought of it a little too late.
“Thank you to my employer for recognizing my hard work. Only took you 4 years #supernecessary,” Masvidal tweeted.

White posted the video message on social media to call out Youtuber-come-boxer Jake Paul. Both Paul and White have been involved in a feud for months. Paul has been teased for selling only 65,000 PPVs for his rematch with Tyron Woodley.
The UFC boss claims that Paul abuses performance-enhancing drugs to box. He also challenged Paul to get tested, but Paul had other demands.
He said he will get tested by USADA, but he wants White to look after his fighters in a better way. The boxer proposed raising the minimum pay to every fighter the UFC has got on the roster and allocating an amount for fighters’ healthcare.
Social media users hailed Paul’s stance on the purse that UFC hands out to its fighters. Paul is also eager to take on Masvidal in a boxing fight where the UFC star would be guaranteed a purse of over $5 million.
The MMA ace turned down the offer, saying he would not consider coming out of his UFC contract for boxing until there’s at least $20 million on the table.
