Joseph Parker (36-3, 24 KOs) vs. Fabio Wardley (19-0-1, 18 KOs) is set to take place on October 25 at the O2 Arena in London, England.
Parker secured a second-round stoppage of Martin Bakole in February in his previous fight after his original opponent, Daniel Dubois, withdrew due to illness to retain his WBO Interim Heavyweight Belt. As for Wardley, he secured a knockout win over Justis Huni in June. The winner will be in a position to face the undisputed heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk. There’s even a possibility that the full WBO title is on the line if the WBO decides to elevate Parker after the WBO ordered Usyk to defend his belt against him.
