Josh Taylor v. Jack Catterall Fight Delayed to January

The rematch between the WBO light welterweight champion, Josh Taylor, and Jack Catterall will now happen in January, according to boxing promoter Bob Arum.

“We were trying to do it at the end of November, but I heard it may not be possible until January of next year,” said Bob Arum to Boxing Social about the rematch. “That’s going to be Josh Taylor’s next fight.”

After their first contest in February, Taylor (19-0, 13 KOs) has vacated three of his four titles since his 12 round split decision win over Catterall (26-1, 13 KOs).

Despite there being no championship title on the line, Catterall is still eager for the chance to vindicate himself with a victory over Taylor.

The rematch will likely take place once more in Glasgow, Scotland.
