UFC Flyweight champion Joshua Van has withdrawn from his scheduled title defense against Tatsuro Taira at UFC 327 due to an undisclosed injury.
The fight has been rescheduled for UFC 328 on Saturday, May 9, 2026. It will now serve as the co-main event for the middleweight title fight between Khamzat Chimaev and Sean Strickland at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. In light of the Van-Taira postponement, the light heavyweight clash between Paulo Costa and the undefeated Azamat Murzakanov has been elevated to the co-main event slot.
