Junior Dos Santos, Thiago Silva, And Hector Lombard Signed To Eagle FC
Three former UFC fighters will join Khabib Nurmagomedov’s organization.
And those former UFC fighters are Junior Dos Santos, Thiago Silva and Hector Lombard who will appear under the Eagle FC banner.
Dos Santos is the most prominent fighter in the promotion since he is one of the best heavyweights in the history of the UFC. However, his last fights of him were not very successful.
He was on a three-fight winning streak, serving TKO defeats to Tai Tuivasa and Derrick Lewis, but after that, he suffered four TKO losses against top contenders of the division. He was about to make his boxing debut, but Eagle FC signed him.
He will make his promotional debut against Yorgan De Castro.
Lombard was fighting in BKFC after leaving the UFC.
He was on a six fight losing streaks when he left the promotion. After that, he had one grappling match with famous Sean O’Malley and served him a first-round submission loss. After that, he ended up in another grappling match as a draw against Anthony Johnson.
He fought four times in BKFC. He defeated David Mundell via unanimous decision, earned a first-round KO victory against Kendall Grove and defeated Joe Riggs after the doctor stopped the fight in round 4, but in his last fight, he suffered defeat against Lorenzo Hunt.
Under MMA rules, his latest victory was in 2014 against Jake Shields.
Silva might be unknown for modern MMA fans. He left the UFC back in 2013.
His UFC record was 7-3, and he suffered losses against fighters like Lyoto Machida, Rashad Evans and Alexander Gustafsson. After that, he fought in ACB, Fight Night, Glory, KSW and RCC.
He signed in Eagle FC and will make his debut against Hector Lombard.
