Justin Gaethje-Anthony Pettis Eyed For 2019
The lightweight division in the UFC is getting another major showdown, as the UFC is working on a potential Justin Gaethje and Anthony Pettis for the new year.
First reported by ESPN, a lightweight fight between the two is being targeted for early next year, as Gaethje looks to continue his winning ways following his knockout win over James Vick earlier this year.
Standing across from Gaethje is former lightweight champion, Pettis, who is looking to erase a loss to Tony Ferguson in one of the featured fights of UFC 229, with his last win coming via armbar against Michael Chiesa at UFC 226.
