Justin Gaethje Returns To The White House Celebrating Fourth Of July Weekend

Less than one month removed from his lightweight title win over Ilia Topuria at UFC Freedom 250, new 155-pound champion Justin Gaethje made his White House return during his Fourth of July weekend celebrations.

In the main event of UFC Freedom 250 back in June, Gaethje earned the lightweight title with a brutal stoppage at the end of the fourth round. Now, finally holding the 155-pound belt in the twilight of his long career, Gaethje finds himself with many options on the table as potential title defenses, such as Charles Oliveira and Arman Tsarukyan. Meanwhile, Topuria will probably be out of full-contact training for some time while he continues to recover from the damage inflicted by the American’s volumetric striking.

Alongside Gaethje on his Fourth of July trip to the White House were his parents, as well as prominent MMA manager Ali Abdelaziz, who all sat down for lunch with President Donald Trump, according to Gaethje’s recent post to social media.

“My parents and I had the pleasure of visiting the capitol for lunch with the President. Had the honor of meeting many great men and women. What a ride.”
