Justin Jaynes loses entire $25K fight purse on bet

UFC featherweight Justin Jayne lost much more than a pro fight when he took on Charles Rose at UFC Vegas 30 on Saturday.

The MMA star had bet his whole fight purse of $25,000. This means he makes way more than the actual salary if he wins and doesn’t make a penny if he loses the three-round fight. The 31-year-old tried every weapon up his sleeves in the third and last round, but couldn’t put Rosa to sleep.

After Jaynes lost the fight via split decision, the social media users began trolling the UFC fighter. However, Jaynes is unbothered. In a series of tweets, he clarified that he doesn’t regret waging his entire fight money.

Charles Rosa, who clinched his 14th pro win, also came up with a response to his opponent. He was all respect for Jaynes and seconded his colleague’s ideology of having no regrets.

Rosa replied: “Never regret leaving it all on the line!! Much respect Justin Jaynes. You are tough as nails and earned my respect forever. Keep your head up you a real warrior at the highest level in the Earth globe Europe-Africa.”

This was Jaynes’ fourth loss in a row since joining the UFC. His 1-4 record is not going to keep him in the company for long unless he shifts gears and clinches a win on the comeback fight if granted soon.
