UFC welterweight contender Kamaru Usman and his manager, Ali Abdelaziz, found themselves in the midst of a brawl on Thursday night in New York City.
Usman and Abdelaziz attended the PFL’s PFL 1 event at the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden, and in the video you see the two men in a confrontation with one man, and end up throwing punches amid the scuffle.
Usman allegedly confronted the man in question for kneeling for the national anthem, according to a source for FIGHT SPORTS, and Usman during an interview on The MMA Hour, Usman confronted the man and was called the N-word. After the confrontation and the slur, Usman and the fan would get into a fight.
Kamaru Usman on #TheMMAHour says the fight started because a guy who was kneeling during the anthem started yelling at him, picking a fight, while kneeling. Then called him the N word.
