Kamaru Usman Discusses Filming Experience for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever
The Marvel movie, Black-Panther: Wakanda Forever, will be coming to theatres at the end of this year, and Kamaru Usman will be a part of the long-awaited film.
A sequel to the 2018 blockbuster film, Black Panther, the sequel will be coming a little over the two-year anniversary of the death of Chadwick Boseman. The film will be released on November 11, 2022.
While attending the UFC 278 media day event, Usman discussed life in acting, explaining that it is not as easy and a career you will not understand unless you go through the motions.
“So, a lot of respect for them. I think it’s going to be an incredible movie. Director Ryan [Coogler], an amazing director, and I think – you never know what they cut at the end. So, hopefully, my scenes stay in there. So, fingers crossed.”
“But if they cut it the way that they know how, I think it’s going to be a fantastic movie. I think it’s going to take you on an emotional rollercoaster. But, all in all, fantastic. Marvel don’t usually miss. So, we’ll see.” Usman jestingly added, “All you DC fans, don’t come at me.”
The mixed-martial artist has an upcoming fight against Leon Edwards for the Welterweight title, the main event at UFC 278.
UFC 278 will take place on August 20, 2022.
