Kamaru Usman Responds To Khamzat Chimaev’s Call Out

Kamaru Usman has responded to Khamzat Chimaev after the latter called him out for a crunch fight.

Usman, for his part, is not in the best form of late. In his last two fights, he has faced Leon Edwards. In the first fight, Usman lost his title after being knocked out.

Unfortunately, things did not get any better in the rematch. Usman couldn’t regain his title, as Edwards took his rivalry to 2-1.

Despite this being the case, Usman is keen on rebuilding himself, which is why Chimaev has come into the conversation.

With that being said, Chimaev shared a photo of himself wearing workout clothes and tagged Usman in the post.

In response, Usman could not help but issue his own war of words to put Chimaev on notice.

Nevertheless, Dana White appeared to rule out the pair fighting which suggests that there is still a long way to go before the bout can happen.

“What I hate about that fight and (Usman) calling him out, Usman is calling him out at a catchweight. I don’t do catchweights, I don’t like catchweights. Catchweights mean nothing,” White
