Kamaru Usman Wants Anthony Joshua To Train With Him

UFC welterweight king Kamaru Usman wants boxer Anthony Joshua to practice with him.

Usman’s stock has surged most notably in 2021, and is already the No. 1 pound-for-pound king in the UFC. He recently knocked out Gilbert Burns and Jorge Masvidal and won a unanimous decision against Colby Covington.

After seeing a video of Joshua doing some wrestling practice, Usman volunteered his services to the heavyweight boxing champion.

“Ah ah my brother, you for call me nah,” Usman commented in ‘Pidgin English’. “Dis is my specialty.”

Usman was regarded to be a grappling expert, but his striking has improved in his recent wins in the octagon.

In 2022, Joshua will face Oleksandr Usyk in a rematch. He was scheduled to meet Tyson Fury before losing his heavyweight championships against Usyk earlier this year and invoking his rematch clause.

This isn’t the first time Joshua has been spotted doing MMA. He recently trained with former UFC middleweight Luke Barnatt.
