Karate 1 Premier League arrives in Dublin from September 8th-10 from the Sport Ireland National Indoor Arena, which you can watch live on FIGHTSPORTS, subject to your country’s restrictions.
A total of 400 athletes from 60 countries will participate in a total of 12 categories made up of 32 athletes. Six world champions and 12 Olympic medalists will grace the tournament, as Dublin hosts the event for the first time. And as it is the last tournament of the season, there is plenty of action available for fight fans. Olympic Games gold medallist Ivet Goranova and Steven Dacosta will participate in the Kumite categories respectively: (-55kg) (-67kg).
Other big names include the following world champions fighting for the gold: Ahlam Youssef (Kumite -55kg) and Irina Zaretska (Kumite -68kg). Meanwhile, Maria Torres (Kumite +68kg), Douglas Brose (Kumite -60kg), Steven Dacosta (Kumite -67kg), Youssef Badawy (Kumite -84kg) are the others. Hikaru Ono, Yorgelis Salazar, Dionisyos Xenos and Mohamed Ramadan are also among those taking part.
There will also be the chance to see the Grand Winners. Anzhelika Terliuga (Kumite -55kg) and Yorgelis Salazar (Kumite -50kg) will keep the title after winning the award last season. With that being said, make sure you catch all the live action on FIGHTSPORTS, subject to the conditions below.
