Katie Taylor Should Return To Ring By November
Katie Taylor will be making her return in November.
Taylor has not fought since her win earlier this year over Amanda Serrano, but the Olympian is ready to re-enter the ring.
Taylor’s promoter, Eddie Hearn, revealed a small detail about Taylor’s next fight during a question-and-answer session on social media on Thursday, sharing that news would be coming soon.
Boxing Social has been told that the fight could take place in November, being held by Matchroom in Liverpool. Taylor will be on the card for this fight at M&S Bank Arena.
Hearn will be working with Wasserman Boxing. Wasserman promotes Gorman to have the clash between Chris Eubank Jr. and Conor Benn.
They will be facing each other in the ring on October 8 at the O2 Arena in London. Viewers will be able to tune in on DAZN PPV in the UK and Ireland and DAZN worldwide.
Kalle Sauerland, head of global boxing at Wasserman, is also trying to get an exclusive broadcast deal with Channel 5 for the fight.
Chantelle Cameron is likely to fight for the undisputed crown in her next fight. This super-lightweight holds the IBF and WBC world titles in her division.
She beat Katie Taylor’s former opponent Victoria Noelia Bustos in May at the O2 Arena in London. She was supposed to fight Kali Reis, who has the IBO, WBA Super and WBO titles. Through various discussions, the 31-year-old (16-0, 8 KOs) will step up in weight to challenge Jessica McCaskill for the welterweight belts.
Stay tuned to learn more about Katie Taylor’s fight this upcoming November.
