Kayla Harrison Likely To Re-Sign With PFL

Despite shopping around other promotions, a report says Kayla Harrison isn’t going anywhere.

MMA journalist Ariel Helwani reported that the Professional Fighters League (PFL) is the front runner to re-sign Harrison.

Harrison (12-0) became the most sought-after free agent after she won her second consecutive PFL title in October.

The two-time Olympic gold medalist in judo was in reported talks with Bellator and the UFC, who at first had a rocky relationship. UFC President Dana White later warmed up to a possibility of Harrison joining the promotion following interest from former UFC champion Miesha Tate.

Meanwhile, in Bellator, current champion Cris Cyborg said Harrison was welcome to go to that promotion and fight her.

According to Helwani’s report, the UFC made a strong push for Harrison.

Nothing has been confirmed yet.
