Kayla Harrison to Compete at PFL 4

Kayla Harrison’s next fight will come with the fourth event of the 2019 PFL season, as she will take on Morgan Frier in the co-main event of the evening.

PFL 4, which takes place on July 11 in Atlantic City, New Jersey, will mark the playoff eligibility and seeding of fighters competing in the women’s lightweight and welterweight divisions.

Harrison, the two-time judo Olympic gold medalist, improved to 4-0 as a professional MMA fighter at the first 2019 PFL event earlier this month, defeating Larissa Pacheco via decision. Frier, meanwhile, lost via first-round submission to UFC veteran Sarah Kaufman on the same card.

Kaufman, who Harrison is second to in the current women’s lightweight standings, will also be competing at PFL 4, taking on Roberta Samad.

In the PFL 4 main event, defending welterweight champion Magomed Magomedkerimov will face Chris Curtis, while Ray Cooper faces John Howard. Magomedkerimov submitted Howard at PFL 1, while Curtis stopped Andre Fialho and Cooper defeated cousin Zane Kamaka.
