Keith Thurman Wants To Fight Terence Crawford

If there is one fighter who is dreaming big in boxing right now, it is Keith Thurman (30-1, 22 KOs). “One time” is hoping to fight against Terence Crawford (38-0, 29 KOs) in a warm-up fight.

If it were to happen, then the winner of this fight will be expected to fight against Errol Spence Jr. later for the undisputed welterweight championship. Thurman believes that his potential fight with Crawford may prove to be a game-changer.

The American fighter believes that his fight against the WBO 147-lb champion will ensure that it becomes a bigger contest than the fight between the winner and Spence.

Even though many of the viewers do not believe the hype in Thurman’s sayings, they are interested to see what the 33-year-old has in his locker. Unfortunately for the Florida native, Crawford has already decided to fight Spence right away.

The 34-year-old believes that he needs no exhibitions or warm-ups to prove his credentials.

Unless Al Haymon can play a role in changing Crawford’s decision, Thurman would have to try his luck elsewhere.

The former WBC champion has looked vibrant in the ring after being out of action for almost two and a half years. In his most notable fight, he dominated WBA 140-lb champion Mario Barrios in a one-sided encounter.
