Kell Brook Can’t Wait To Punch Amir Khan In The Face
Kell Brook does not plan on stopping the verbal warfare against Amir Khan. They will meet inside the ring on February 19 in Manchester.
Brook and Khan have shared a feud for several years and both now have the opportunity to come on top next month to walk their talk. Speaking to IFL TV, Brook gave his two cents of what he thinks of his British colleague.
“I don’t know if I hate him – that’s a strong word – but I’m close to the hate side,” the 35-year-old said of Khan.
“I really dislike the man and I really can’t wait to punch his face in. I can’t wait to get my knuckles to the nearest point of the gloves and drill it straight into his face.”
The former world champ also had a response for those who want him to call time on his career regardless of the outcome of the Khan bout.
“I think a lot of people want me to say I’m going to retire. Conor Benn’s been mentioned, Mayweather’s been saying that he wants the winner, Danny Garcia’s been saying that he wants the winner, Keith Thurman’s getting active again,” Brook continued.
“I think my mojo’s back sat here right now. I feel young, I feel fresh, I feel good… Am I going to retire? Let’s see how I’m feeling…”
