Kendra McIntyre’s Viral Head Kick Knockout in LFA 182 Preliminary Bout

Kendra McIntyre may not be a name that every MMA fan knows, but after her devastating walk-off KO of Katarina Legorreta at LFA 182, things could be coming together for the rising strawweight star.

LFA 182 went down in Sioux Falls, South Dakota this past Friday, with the broadcast exclusively on UFC Fight Pass. In the main event, Mitchell McKee added a 6th win to his undefeated record, earning the unanimous decision over Jose Hernandez.

But, due to the violent nature of McIntyre’s head kick knockout in the featured preliminary bout, the spotlight has certainly shifted positions.

The spectacular finish was even compared to Kevin Lee’s famous 2019 knockout victory of Gregor Gillespie at UFC 244. Given the way the left kick was set up with a right hand, the similarities are striking.

Many screenshots from the video of the viral knockout have been captured, and some of these images display just how well-placed and powerful this strike was.
