Kevin Holland Pulled From Rematch Vs. Kyle Daukaus At UFC Vegas 42

Kevin Holland and Kyle Daukaus were supposed to settle their no contest from earlier this month.

But Holland is reportedly out from the bout due to an undisclosed injury.

“Hey Kevin Holland, sorry to hear about the injury,” Daukaus wrote. “Heal up. I’ll see you in February, but first I’m gonna handle some business.”

They first shared the octagon at UFC Fight Night 193. This bout was considered no contest because of an accidental headbutt.

After that headbutt, Holland got knockdown, and Kyle submitted a damaged rival via rear-naked choke.

Holland was one of the best fighters of 2020.

He earned five victories in a row, but suffered two losses in a row in 2021 in addition to the no contest.

MMA Fighting confirmed that Holland was removed from the upcoming fight card. The promotion is instead looking for a new opponent.
But, according to Daukaus’ tweet, Holland could have a chance to run it back in February.
