Khabib Nurmagomedov Asks For Donald Trump’s Support For War In Gaza

Donald Trump has been the topic of many news headlines lately, but he was still in attendance at UFC 302 in New Jersey, and even took the time to speak with former lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov.

Khabib was also in attendance at the event, cornering his friend and lifelong training partner Islam Makhachev. Dustin Poirier, former opponent of Nurmagomedov, squared off with Makhachev in the evening’s main event. In the 5th round of what was an extremely hard fought battle, the native of Dagestan, Russia found an opportune position and managed to secure the submission finish by way of D’arce choke.

During the event, Nurmagomedov spoke with The United States of America’s 45th President, and he only had one topic of discussion on his mind.

The conflict between Israel and Hamas has been actively ongoing on the Gaza Strip for the past calendar year. Many UFC fighters have joined in making statements when given a platform to due so, all calling for support to end the conflict. Nurmagomedov has now been added to that list, going directly to the most politically powerful man inside the arena.

Trump is hated and loved by many, but despite his recent convictions, he does seem devoted to handling the war in Gaza. Regardless of the decided outcome of his legal battles, he still plans to run for President in the upcoming election.
