Khabib Nurmagomedov Extends 14-0 Streak After Finishing Hamiz Mamedov – August 5, 2011 (This Day In MMA History)
Just under four minutes of Round 1, Khabib Nurmagomedov stretched his winning streak to 14 consecutive victories – sealed with a triangle choke submission over Hamiz Mamedov.
Nurmagomedov (29-0) is arguably one of the greatest fighters in MMA history, reflecting his untouched winning record. He retired after the death of his father, Abdulmanap.
His last bout was on October 24, 2020 against Justin Gaethje where he won via submission over a minute into the second round.
Mamedov, of Azerbaijan, has lost in all three fights he’s competed in.
