Khabib Nurmagomedov Responds To Being Number One Pound-For-Pound UFC Fighter
Khabib Nurmagomedov has reacted to being listed as the number one-ranked pound-for-pound fighter in the UFC.
Nurmagomedov competed for the final time inside the Octagon on October 24. Nurmagomedov went one-on-one with Justin Gaethje in a lightweight title unification bout. Nurmagomedov was the main UFC Lightweight Champion, while Gaethje held interim gold. In the end, Nurmagomedov scored the second-round submission win and announced his retirement.
During his post-fight speech, Nurmagomedov shared his belief that he should be ranked number one on the pound-for-pound list. “The Eagle” got his wish as he has topped Jon Jones in the official UFC rankings.
Nurmagomedov has taken to his Instagram account to respond to his number one spot.

Nurmagomedov retires with a perfect pro MMA record of 29-0. He also walks away from the sport as the undisputed UFC Lightweight Champion.
