Khabib Nurmagomedov Set To Hold Press Conference On December 2

Khabib Nurmagomedov will be holding a press conference on December 2.

Nurmagomedov announced his retirement from MMA competition following his second-round submission victory over Justin Gaethje back in October. UFC President Dana White expressed his belief that “The Eagle” was caught up in the moment and will return eventually. Nurmagomedov recently took to social media to hint at a meeting with the UFC boss.

Now, Nurmagomedov is gearing up for a press conference in Moscow. The official Instagram account of Khabib’s website made the announcement.

“Moscow! Khabib will hold a meeting with the media on December 2, where everyone can ask their questions about new projects that have been and will be announced!”

The announcement mentions that a live stream will be available on Khabib’s official YouTube channel. It’ll be interesting to see if the UFC Lightweight Champion reveals plans to hold off on retirement.

Speculation has run rampant on Khabib’s fighting future. “The Eagle” remains in the USADA testing pool. Furthermore, he hasn’t vacated the 155-pound gold and White insists that Nurmagomedov remains the champion at lightweight.

FIGHT SPORTS will keep you updated on Khabib Nurmagomedov’s next move as that information becomes available.
