Khabib Nurmagomedov Will Be Featured Guest At Canada Event

Former undisputed and undefeated UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov will visit Toronto for the first time since retiring for an exclusive sit-down interview.

The fundraiser, organized by Penny Appeal Canada, will feature a live on-stage conversation between Nurmagomedov and emerging Toronto musician Mustafa, whose record “When Smoke Rises” was voted the most significant Canadian album of 2021 by Complex.

The evening will be opened by comedians Omar Regan and Yasmin Elhady.

Nurmagomedov is one of the best fighters of all time.

He had massive wrestling skills and a fantastic ground game. He defended his title three times and earned 13 victories in the UFC.

He finished fighters like Conor McGregor, Dustin Poirier, Justin Gaethje, Edson Barboza, Rafael Dos Anjos, and many other notable names. He is the first Muslim to win a UFC title.
He became very popular after defeating McGregor.

Mustafa, meanwhile, has many references to Islam. The artist will interview Nurmagomedov and moderate an open Q&A with the crowd on stage.

Meridian Hall will host the event on Monday, March 14, at 7 p.m.
