Kickboxing Icon Saenchai Signs With BKFC
Saenchai, a legendary figure in Muay Thai kickboxing, has signed a multi-fight contract with the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship.
Later this year, in his native Thailand, he will make his BKFC Squared Circle debut. Further details will be announced soon, the promotion said.
Saenchai has won the Lumpinee Stadium championship six times, which is regarded as the highest honor in Muay Thai kickboxing. The former WBC Diamond World Champion enters his BKFC debut with a 313-41-5 professional kickboxing record.
After Buakaw Banchamek, Saenchai is the most recent Muay Thai kickboxing star to join BKFC. Banchamek will debut on September 3 in Bangkok against Turkish Erkan Varol (88-33, 46 KOs).
BKFC’s next event takes place in London on August 20 at Wembley Arena where Mike Perry will clash with “MVP” Michael Venom Page in the main event. Paige VanZant vs. Charisa Sigala’s women’s flyweight matchup is also on the schedule.
