Klitschko Claims Wilder-Joshua Needs To Happen

Nearly one year after his final fight, former heavyweight king Wladimir Klitschko spoke on a potential heavyweight unification clash between Deontay Wilder and Anthony Joshua.

While as a guest on the Sirius XM Boxing Show, Klitschko told host Randy Gordon that the two men need to settle who is the true king of the heavyweight division.

“I believe it probably must happen, the question is when,” claimed the former champion who was attended his brother Vitali’s hall of fame induction.

“Must it happen? Absolutely, yes. And I believe in this case, the sooner it happens is probably better for Wilder. The later it happens, probably for his disadvantage due to age gap and Joshua getting more experienced.”
