Kovalev-Alvarez Nets 813K Viewers

While Sergey Kovalev may stand at another crossroads in his career, the audience for his seventh round loss to Eleider Alvarez would be a standout in the ratings.

Per information released by Nielsen Media Research, a peak audience of 813,000 viewers witnessed Alvarez knockout Kovalev in the main event of an HBO World Championship Boxing broadcsat, with an average audience of 731,000 watching from the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.

This would be a step up for Kovalev’s victory over Igor Mikhalkin, which would draw 674,000 (peak) and an average of 599,000 viewers, against the Deontay Wilder and Luis Ortiz fight (1.2 Million Peak, 1.1 Million average).
