Kudratillo Abdukakhorov vs. Sergey Lipinets Will Not Happen On October 10

Kudratillo Abdukakhorov vs. Sergey Lipinets isn’t going to take place on its initially planned date.

Abdukakhorov and Lipinets were set to collide for the interim IBF Welterweight Title on October 10. BoxingScene.com is reporting that there will have to be a new date for the matchup to materialize. That’s because Abdukakhorov encountered visa issues preventing him from entering the United States for COVID-19 testing.

The report notes that the bout could be rescheduled for November 28. Showtime is already set to air a live event that night. The November 28 date has not been finalized.

Abdukakhorov is undefeated with a pro boxing record of 17-0. He’s scored nine knockouts along the way. Lipinets is riding a three-fight winning streak.
