Today, February 26, Canelo and Yildirim will tip the scales for the official weigh-ins. If all goes well, then Canelo will put the WBA (Super), WBC, and The Ring Super-Middleweight Titles on the line this Saturday night.
The weight limit for this title fight is 168 pounds.
In his last outing back in December, Canelo captured the gold by defeating Callum Smith in a one-sided unanimous decision. Yildirim hasn’t competed since February 2019. He dropped his most recent bout to Anthony Dirrell via technical decision.
