This Saturday, October 31, Davis and Cruz will collide in a title for title bout. Davis’ WBA (Regular) Lightweight Championship and Cruz’s WBA (Super) Super-Featherweight gold will be at stake. The action will be held inside the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. Fans will be in attendance at a reduced capacity.

Davis hasn’t fought since late 2019 when he stopped Yurirokis Gamboa to capture the WBA gold. As for Santa Cruz, he last competed on November 23, 2019. He defeated Miguel Flores via unanimous decision to become the WBA Super-Featherweight king.
