Lobov Asks White to Not Release Tukhugov
After the UFC 229 brawl, UFC President Dana White stated that three of Khabib Nurmagomedov’s team members had been arrested, and if any of them were under UFC contract, they would be terminated.
After Zubaira Tukhugov bragged about his role in the attack on Conor McGregor, his Oct. 27 bout with Artem Lobov — a teammate of McGregor’s — was canceled and he was expected to be released. Nurmagomedov took to social media to post such an action, threatening to walk away from the MMA promotion if Tukhugov was cut.
But now as it turns out, even Lobov would be upset by his release.
Dana dont let Tukhugov escape his punishment, put him back in! @danawhite

Nurmagomedov, after his win against McGregor at UFC 229, jumped out of the Octagon and tried to attack McGregor’s team members. Meanwhile, McGregor got into it with Nurmagomedov’s, with a couple of people, including Tukhugov, entering the Octagon and sneak attacking the Irish superstar.
