Lobov-Tukhugov Signed For UFC Moncton

The catalyst for the Conor McGreor-Khabib Nurmagomedov feud, Artem Lobov is set for a return to the Octagon on October 27th at UFC Moncton.

Lobov was initially set to face off against Alex Caceres at the now infamous UFC 223, but was pulled due to his involvement in Conor McGregor’s attack on a UFC team bus that would contain Khabib Nurmagomedov. Days prior to the incident, Nurmagomedov and a teammate would confront Lobov inside the UFC hotel regarding friction between the McGregor and Khabib camps.

In what seems to be a gym battle, Lobov will take on Zubaira Tukhugov, who is a teammate of Nurmagomedov, who faces Lobov’s aforementioned SBG Ireland teammate Conor McGregor at UFC 229

Lobov has lost his last two fights inside the Octagon, while this will be Tukhugov’s first fight since 2016, due to a violating a USADA test due to two out-of-competition tests.
