Logan Paul Sues Ryan Garcia For Defamation Over PRIME Comments

Logan Paul has sued Ryan Garcia over the boxer’s comments on PRIME.

Paul and KSI formed the brand, which brought in over $1.3 billion in revenue last year. That made PRIME the leading hydration drink, exceeding Gatorade. However, the company has been dealing with hurdles. It was sued in 2023 after a lawsuit claimed the drink had per- and polyfluoralkyl substances (PFAS), otherwise known as forever chemicals. It was alleged these could damage health.

Garcia also made many disparaging comments about the drink in the build-up for his fight with Devin Haney. He accused the drink of killing people, while also claiming anyone who supported the brand worked for the devil. Paul has now responded with a lawsuit. He made the announcement on May 23, saying a filing had been made in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas for defamation and libel.
