Lomachenko-Crolla Purse Bid Postponed
Similar to Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury’s purse bid, the WBA has pushed a bid for Vasyl Lomachenko and Anthony Crolla to a new date.
The WBA moved back the bid for a lightweight world title fight back from Monday February 4th, to February 13th from their home office in Panama City, Panama.
WBA super bantamweight champion Daniel Roman’s and WBA “regular” cruiserweight champion Beibut Shumenov’s next two defense against Murdjon Akmadiev and Arsen Goulamiriam respectively, will also take place on the 13th.
This would mark the Ukrainian’s second defense of the title won in early 2018 against Jorge Linares.
The purse bid will be directed by WBA board member, Aurelio Fiengo, with a minimum bid amount of $150,000 and the distribution will be 75% for Lomachenko and 25% for Crolla.
