Lomachenko-Pedraza Set For December 8th

Following his victory over Jorge Linares, Vasyl Lomachenko will return to New York City on December 8th to take on top challenger Jose Pedraza.

The fight was made official on Monday, as Lomachenko will make his first defense of the WBA and Ring lightweight titles where he won the titles back in May in a stoppage victory over Linares, the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden.

The fight was initially scheduled to face off on December 1st at The Forum in Inglewood, California, but decided to move to the 8th to follow the Heisman Trophy presentation earlier in the same evening.

Pedraza looks to unify his WBO title with  an upset against Lomachenko, following his August victory over Ray Beltran by unanimous decision.
