“Lopez Fought A Nobody”
Watching Teofimo Lopez struggle against tougher than expected Masayoshi Nakatani in Baltimore last weekend, Vasyl Lomachenko laughed at the idea of Lopez being at his level.
Discussing the New York born prospect at a press conference for his August 31st unification fight against Luke Campbell, Lomachenko more hurdles stand in Lopez’ way.
“[He went] twelve rounds with nobody? It’s a very big question for him, for his father, for his bullsh*t what he say before. Very big question,” Lomachenko told Talk Sport of the IBF mandatory challenger.
When asked who he’d rather fight, the hard hitting Commey or the younger challenger Lopez, Lomachenko feels one is the obvious winner.
“If we talk about his future fight with Commey, I think Commey wins, but I don’t want [that]. I want Lopez. Of course, of course.”
