Mackenzie Dern VS. Angela Hill Booked For UFC Fight Night In May
Confirmed By Sources, But Not Yet By The Organization
Recent reports have been circulating that the UFC has added a women’s strawwight matchup to their Fight Night card that is planned to occur on May 13th.
The bout will be between Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu ace Mackenzie Dern and Angela Hill, the former Invicta FC champion.
Dern (12-3) is looking to bounce back following her most recent bout versus Xiaonan Yan, in which she lost by majority decision. Conversely, Hill (15-12) is hoping to continue her winning ways as she comes off a victory over Emily Ducote back in December.

Despite a couple of setbacks, Dern has won 5 of her last 7 matches and is currently ranked #7 in the stawweight division, directly under Jessica Andrade (24-10).
Making her 23rd ring walk among the ranks of the UFC, Hill will tie Andrade for most appearances inside the octagon by any female fighter.
While the bout has not been officially announced by the organization, several anonymous sources have come forward with information that the bout has been confirmed.
Additionally, Hill posted the following video on Instagram which showed her signing the UFC contract and celebrating with a sandwich from “Mickey D’s”, while joking that the name of the restaurant was “totally unrelated” to the name of her opponent.

While the event does not currently have an announced location, the card is scheduled to also include Anthony Smith versus Johnny Walker, Matt Brown versus Court McGee, and Jailton Almeida versus Jairzinho Rozenstruik.
