Mahmoud Charr Provokes Tyson Fury, Wants Him To Finalize Fight

Former WBA champion Mahmoud Charr has tried to intimidate Tyson Fury as he wants him to finalize a fight.

The current WBC heavyweight champion has selected Charr as the alternative if a potential title defense against Anthony Joshua does not take place.

Earlier this year, Fury was disappointed that Joshua didn’t sign a recently issued contract and abandoned the fight. As he named Charr as his next opponent, the German boxer is pressing Fury to finalize the deal.

“The lumberjack is coming for you, Habibi. Focus on the belt, focus on the belt. You big dosser! Fury, you are the s— as Anthony Joshua. A man is a man. When you say Joshua is out, he is out.

“You told everyone you want to fight me [and] now we are like a duck. Take the fight,” Charr said.

However, the 34-year-old British boxer is keen to give Joshua more time to make his decision.

“My promoter Frank Warren convinced me to let Queensberry carry on negotiating with your team this week, despite me knowing that you were never going to do this fight. So the deadline was Monday.

“I allowed Frank to continue doing meetings with your team and your broadcasters and all that. Now we have BT, DAZN, and ESPN all on the same page.

“Give them full transparency, I’ve got nothing to hide, I’m not trying to rob anybody, I’ve not robbed anybody of a penny in my life.

“So now you’ve got full transparency, everything is clean and fair. Now, Joshua, the ball is really in your court son.” Fury said.
