Major Update On Ewa Brodnicka vs. Mikaela Mayer
Ewa Brodnicka vs. Mikaela Mayer is finally set.
The official Twitter account of Top Rank Boxing has announced that Brodnicka will put her WBO Junior-Lightweight Title on the line against Mikaela Mayer. This is a highly-anticipated female title fight between two undefeated bruisers and it’ll take place on October 31 inside the MGM Grand Conference Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Brodnicka vs. Mayer will serve as the co-main event of the Naoya Inoue vs Jason Moloney card. The action is set to air live on ESPN+.
Brodnicka is coming off her fifth successful title defense against Edith Soledad Matthysse back on October 4, 2019. Brodnicka won the fight via split decision. With the win, Brodnicka bumped up her record to 18-0.
As for Mayer, she is fresh off a unanimous decision victory over Helen Joseph on July 14. The win improved her pro boxing record to 13-0.
